Is a having my 17th birthday at a bowling alley lame?

For my birthday I think having it at a local bowling alley would be fun but is it lame? I'm gonna 17 and most of my friend's are from 15-18 years of age. I think it's a good place so everyone can have fun and doesn't have to spend much money or drive far. Plus we will have plenty of food n stuff. But what else can I do to make it fun besides bowl and eat? I thought about glow n the dark bowling but I'm not sure...
